Zensa Nero di Troia

£10.13
Biodynamic. Organic.

Zensa, pronounced ‘Sensa’, by Italian definition means ‘without.’ They focus on using organic grapes from Trapani (Sicily) and Puglia, producing wines from Primitivo (Zinfandel to some), Nero d’Avola, and Fiano.

This lesser spotted red grape variety is on the up, making a name for itself producing soft, juicy red wines with great balance. Luminous Red with purple reflections, this elegant and finely textured wine displays aromas of dark fresh plum, cinnamon, exotic spices, black pepper and tobacco. The firm yet gentle tannins add complexity and a long and lingering finish.
