A very promising winemaker and one of the stars of our portfolio, Jérémie Mourat is based between Laroche sur Yon and La Rochelle. He is constantly pushing boundaries and tinkering with new approaches for his own wines. His top terroir is an organic single vineyard called 'Le Moulin Blanc', from which all grapes are hand-harvested and the wines fermented are aged in concrete eggs. Both the white and red are 100% Pinot Noir.
Le Moulin Blanc refers to the white windmill which stands over Jérémie’s best Pinot Noir vineyard on the top of the hill, from where this wine comes from. His 40 year old vines are tended to organically, and result in a rich, fruit forward style of Pinot Noir.
