Jeremie Mourat, Le Moulin Blanc de Noirs

A very promising winemaker and one of the stars of our portfolio, Jérémie Mourat is based between Laroche sur Yon and La Rochelle. He is constantly pushing boundaries and tinkering with new approaches for his own wines. His top terroir is an organic single vineyard called 'Le Moulin Blanc', from which all grapes are hand-harvested and the wines fermented are aged in concrete eggs. Both the white and red are 100% Pinot Noir.

This ‘Blanc de Noir’ is a white wine made from red grapes, an unusual and boundary-pushing style that Jérémie Mourat is pioneering in this region. The result is a wine like no other.

Tasting Note:
This is pinot noir like you’ve never tasted before: elegant and floral on the nose, with delicate red and white currant fruit, it is richly structured with a beautiful freshness and minerality.
