Translation from the latin: "To be set or covered with stars”. From his home in Italy Galileo explored the night sky. He was the first to use a telescope to systematically observe celestial objects. His book, ‘Sidereus nuncius’ or ‘The Starry Messenger’ was first published in 1610 and made him famous, he is recognised today as the father of modern astronomy.
Tasting Note: Crafted from the increasingly popular Italian native variety of Primitivo, this wine is medium bodied, packed full of ripe red fruits and silky soft tannins.
