The family domaine of Rolly-Gassmann, whose roots date back to 1661, is located in Alsace’s Haut-Rhin village of Rorschwihr, near Ribeauvillé. The estate practices organic viticulture and also works to biodynamic principles. Traditional in approach and with a wealth of excellent vineyard sites, Gassmann is known for wines that possess a wonderful elegance, softness and drinkability.
This delicious wine comes from selected parcels in the commune of Rorschwihr. This area has clay, marl and limestone soils, in fact it possesses all 21 types of limestone known in the world, so the wines created here have immense complexity.Best enjoyed with flavoursome firm-flesh fish, white meats, grilled cheeses and spicy dishes.

This is a powerful Riesling, very elegant, with clear, bright, floral-laced concentrated fruit and well-integrated acidity.
