The family domaine of Rolly-Gassmann, whose roots date back to 1661, is located in Alsace’s Haut-Rhin village of Rorschwihr, near Ribeauvillé. The estate practices organic viticulture and also works to biodynamic principles. Traditional in approach and with a wealth of excellent vineyard sites, Gassmann is known for wines that possess a wonderful elegance, softness and drinkability.
Rolly-Gassmann owns 2.47 hectares of vineyards in Bergheim which sit on Jurassic marl limestone soils. These ancient soils help to produce rich and elegant wines. The lieu-dit Brandhurst de Bergheim is located at 240 to 300 metres above sea level and the vines face south-east which aids ripening.

A generous character of ripe apricot, pear and golden raisins with luscious mid-palate and long, lingering finish.
